How to Use...

You may place any domain name in the 1st blank field.  Use the syntax of "name.&&&" where "name" is any word or phrase that interest you and ".&&&" is a domain suffix (e.g. jjplace.com, a1.biz, etc.).  Please omit the quotation mark.  If you like, you may click the [Search Whois Source] button and get your results.  This is the simple and traditional way to use a domain lookup.

You may also, merely place a word, words or phrases connected by hyphens in the 1st line omitting the suffix and click the button.  The Domain Lookup will locate up to 20 choices using your name given and show you the available suffixes (e.g. jjplace.com, jjplace.biz, jjplace...).

You may customize your search to help you create a Domain Name as you discover available Domain Names.  On the 2nd. line, you may "Block" any Domain Names that contain a number digit (e.g. a1.biz gets blocked, etc.).

On the 3rd. line, you may choose a Domain name that may or may-not have Hyphens (" - "), "Block" hyphenated names or require that Domain names "Must Have" hyphens. 

On the 4th. line of the form, you may choose to

• "Left Anchor" your name choice (from line 1) with suggestions appended on the right;
• "Right Anchor" your name choice (from line 1) with suggestions appended on the left;
• "Ordered" by sorting.

On the 5th. line, you may indicate to search "All Results", "Only Active" domains, or "Only Deleted" domains from the Internet active community.

On the 6th. line, you may indicate how many rows, that you wish to limit your maximum information to .  You may also, "Restrict Domain Length:" of the number of characters in the suggested domain name.

On the 7th. line, click the [Search Whois Source] button to see your results.  A new Browser Window will open.  You will be taken to another website to get your results.  Keep this Browser window open to allow your return.

Also, you may note that Registrar Information on domains ending in .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz and .us are fully presented.  Some domains (e.g. .ws) have limited information available on them from this source.  There are other resources on the Internet devoted to other "country specific" domain suffixes.
